Job Description:
Our Ottawa based government client is seeking Junior Bilingual Helpdesk Agents for a short term contract position.

All candidates must possess Enhanced Security Clearance and be fluently bilingual (english and french).

Duties include:
• installs and configure workstations, and network peripherals such as printers, scanners, PDAs etc. for clients
• Install and configure operating systems, application software, and various software automation tools and utilities on workstations
• Perform hardware life-cycle management
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Provide Level 1 problem support to clients
• accounts
• Provide advice and training to users relating to application software
• Attend status meetings and working group sessions as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have::
  • 2+ years experience installing Windows XP on workstations
  • 2+ years experience installing Office 2000/2003
  • 2+ years experience installing Internet Explorer
  • 2+ years experience installing Outlook 2000/2003
  • minimum 3 years of knowledge and experience in TCP/IP and Ethernet
  • minimum of 3 years experience installing and upgrading computer workstations including CPU, memory, NICS, hard drives , etc.
  • 3+ years experience providing problem support to users in a Microsoft Windows/Office environment
